I look forward to posting my photography workshops here for 2020.
Focused on lighting, beginners to advance, I will also teach many other aspects of photography from in studio to on location. Landscapes, the night sky and even fun capturing motion.
So many ideas!

Get started with better light for portraits and more. Learning to understand light will help you shoot better landscapes, family portraits and even still life images.
Working with one speed light or a studio strobe we will explore how to use lighting styles for the type of portrait you want to create. Adding in reflectors, gobos, and ambient light to change the look. We will look at gear and its use.
You will have time to shoot each setup with a model for various setups.
Where: The Loft, Grant Pass Oregon, 111 SW H St, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526
Date and Time: 1:30pm to 4:30pm, Saturday February 1, 2019
Cost: $35.00 USD per person
What to bring: Your camera of choice. Camera Manual. A 50mm to 85mm lens or zoom lens that includes this range. A tripod if you have one. A Pocket Wizards PlusX wireless trigger if you have one. Your Flash (speed light). A folding chair as the Loft does not have them. An open and fun attitude!
For mirrorless camera users, find out how to change your view to natural live view. It may be named differently, but it is a view that does not show you your exposure. Rather, it shows you what you are seeing straight through.
NOTE: Minimum class size is 5. Class date may be moved to a new time and date if this minimum is not reached. Maximum attendees: 12. All lighting, and other gear will be on site.
